For years, one of the most common pieces of feedback we’ve received at Aqua Adventures has been the request for a night dedicated entirely to adults. We’ve heard it at the park, seen it in comments and had guests ask us again and again: “When are you going to have an adults-only night?” Well, after years of hearing it, we decided it was finally time to make it happen.
For the first time ever, Adult Swim Nights are here at Aqua Adventures in Middletown, Ohio! Every Thursday and Friday night through September 4th, guests 18 and older can take over the park from 5PM–9PM for an entirely different Aqua Adventures experience. We’re combining everything people already love about spending a summer day on the water with the atmosphere of a night out — live club-style music, drinks from the full bar, food from the grill, sunsets over the lake and, of course, plenty of time in the water.
A Different Kind of Night Out Between Cincinnati and Dayton
When we started putting Adult Swim together, we didn’t want it to simply be a regular day at Aqua Adventures without kids. We wanted the entire night to have its own atmosphere. With Aqua Adventures located in Middletown between Cincinnati and Dayton, there are plenty of traditional options for adults looking for somewhere to go on a Thursday or Friday night. We wanted to offer something completely different.
That’s where the beach comes in. As the sun begins to set over the water, DJ Chris Lutz will be playing club-style music throughout the evening. You can grab a drink from the full bar, order something from the grill and hang out on the beach with friends, or you can spend all four hours taking advantage of the attractions. There really isn’t a wrong way to spend Adult Swim.
The Inflatable Obstacle Course Isn’t Just for the Kids Anymore
One of the biggest parts of Aqua Adventures is our massive 100+ piece inflatable obstacle course, and during Adult Swim, it’s all yours. Climb, jump, crawl, balance and race your way across the course while trying to prove to your friends that you’re still as athletic as you think you are.
Guests can also take on our 150-foot Racin’ Gators water slides, race their friends to the bottom and cool off in the lake throughout the evening. Whether you want to hit everything in the park or just jump in the water between drinks and songs, the attractions are a huge part of what makes this more than just another adults-only event.
Live Music, Cold Drinks and a Sunset on the Beach
Adult Swim was designed to bring together two completely different kinds of summer nights. You get the energy and music of going out to a club or bar, but instead of spending the night inside, you’re outside on the beach watching the sunset over the water.
Bring a group of friends, make it a date night or come straight from work and start your weekend a little early. Grab dinner at the grill, get your favorite drink from the bar, listen to the DJ and decide whether you’re relaxing on the beach or challenging your friends on the water.
For anyone searching for adult events near Cincinnati or Dayton, things to do in Middletown, Ohio, or a different kind of 18+ night out in Southwest Ohio, Adult Swim is something you won’t find at your typical bar or nightclub.
And It’s Only $20
We also wanted Adult Swim to be affordable enough that it didn’t have to become a big planned-out night. Admission is just $20 per person, giving you four hours at Aqua Adventures from 5PM–9PM with the live DJ, beach, lake, inflatable obstacle course and water slides all included with admission. Our full bar and grill will also be open throughout the evening with food and drinks available for purchase.
Adult Swim Nights are open to anyone 18 or older, and a valid ID is required for entry.

Adult Swim Nights came directly from years of feedback from our guests. You’ve asked us for an adults-only Aqua Adventures experience, and this summer we’re finally giving it a shot.
