This year, they are featuring a new exhibit called “Lafayette 13”, which is a tribute to the famous New Orleans cemeteries. There are five unique rooms housed in a 160,000 square foot aluminum building, and spans a full mile in length. This place is huge, and they hold the Guinness Record for the longest indoor haunted attraction in the world.
2. The Haunted Schoolhouse and Laboratory
The Haunted Schoolhouse and Laboratory is located in Akron, Ohio. It was rated #7 in Haunt World’s “Top 13 Scariest Haunted Houses”. This is the perfect haunt for those who love spooky stories. Each room tells the chilling tale of the evil school librarian- Mrs. Alva. She loved scary stories so much that she wanted her students to experience them first hand. You must navigate these stories to make it out alive.

The Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park in Middletown, Ohio is guaranteed to get your heart pounding. They hold multiple awards for being a top rated haunt in Ohio. The park offers six four unique haunted attractions, four haunted houses, two thrill rides and one haunted trail and Zombie Sniper Patrol, where you ride in a military vehicle and shoot real live zombies with paintball guns. Some of their bone-chilling attractions include: Killer Klowns, Dr. Psycho’s Haunted Estate, and PhobiaZombie Sniper Patrol. If you manage to make it out alive, you can grab a drink at the Voodoo Lounge, or eat dinner at the Creepy Cafe. All of this is going on while live bands and DJs perform on the Soundstage Live.
